For the first time ever he is proud to be hosting an event of this sort at his Sydney Tattoo Studio, Authentink.

The evening will start with a look into the history of Japanese tattooing and its roots in Feudal Japan, its link to Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, its rich symbolism and meanings and its evolution as the most advanced tattoo style in the world of tattooing.

First event of its kind at Authentink Studio, limited to only 20 seats, up close and personal evening to learn about irezumi, tebori and ukiyo-e.

Horisumi will do a demonstation of making sumi ink, preparing the tattoo needles and tools and then a live tebori (japanese hand poke) tattoo demonstation on one of his bodysuit clients. Afterwards there be a Q&A session where participants will be able to ask questions of both Horisumi the artist and the client getting tattooed.
