This service is a one on one video call being advised by Horisumi Kian Forreal to talk in general about your tattoo ideas no matter where you are in the world, this is a client service to spread good information about tattoo placement, tattoo healing, ink risks, longevity of styles and placements and everything else tattoo related to fill the gaps in your knowledge and satisfy your curiosity in a quick affordable chat. All basic tattoo topics are on the table.

This advice service can also be for potential clients or anyone interested in getting tattooed with traditional Japanese tattooing to see if their ideas tattooing are viable, guidance on designs and placement, tattoo motif meanings and history, cover-ups and reworks.  This can be used as a priority service that allows instant access to Horisumi’s waitlist to get tattooed after the consultation. Master Tattoo Artist Horisumi Kian Forreal has been tattooing professionally since 1993 and tattooing in general since 1986 when he started as a teenager.

He has since travelled the world practicing his craft in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia for the past 20 years.

Horisumi has studied under a traditional tattooer masters in Japan and learned the art of Tebori, Japanese hand carve tattooing which he still practices daily in his Sydney studio, His crowning achievement was in 2013 when was given the honorific title of ‘Horisumi’ by Japans most famous Japanese tattoo master Horiyoshi 3 of Yokohama.

He has lectured on Japanese tattooing and performed live in person tebori demonstrations at the prestigious New South Wales Art Gallery, the Japanese Foundation in Sydney, multiple tattoo conventions throughout Australia and is considered a subject matter expert on Tradtional Japanese Tattooing both as a craftsman and a historian.

Horisumi is also the host of the East to West Podcast that you can find on Youtube which covers a wide range of tattoo topics. You can also find him on instagram @horisumi where he posts his work several times a week.
