Our news story of the day is going to be focused on one of our incredible, talented realism artists, Kai. Kai joined the team a bit over two years ago, and since then has been making waves by bringing to life intricately detailed, large-scale custom realism tattoos. Other than black and grey realism, Kai also dabbles in colour realism, custom calligraphy, fine line, American traditional, and more experimental new school genres, like the dry brush style. He’s an all-around versatile artist with a passion for design.
Before coming to Authentink, Kai worked in studios in Melbourne and Canberra, steadily building his portfolio and amassing a notable following as he travelled. He’s now in Sydney for the long haul, so there’ll be many more years of tattoos to come. Even if realism isn’t your cup of tea, it’s hard not to admire the artistry of his works.
