Cover-Up in Progress: Transforming an Old Tattoo

Coco is in the midst of a cover-up project, and it’s going well! They’ve done one session at the moment, and are looking to organise the second and final session sometime in the next few weeks.

The original tattoo spans the side of the client’s left torso and extends onto his shoulder blade, a series of swirling lines decorated with musical notes. It’s some years old and has seen some fading. Coco has gone over some lines and added new ones, which you can see in the photos below.

As you can see, the old tattoo is partially covered with only a few of the original music notes left untouched. These notes will be touched up while more shading and a few extra details will be added to the flowers and leaves.

So far, it’s looking incredible! Stay tuned to see some final pictures in the next few weeks.
