This August, Authentink will be joined by Slovakian artist Coco. With just over five years of experience tattooing and a background in contemporary art, Coco brings a fresh perspective to the industry by producing custom works that draw from folk culture and play with traditional motifs. Coco’s work is ornamental, bold, and subtle–a seemingly contradictory set of descriptions, but very true! Through experimentation, careful consideration and extensive understanding of the shape and form of the body, Coco has achieved a satisfying, balanced and broad portfolio. In her own words, she approaches tattooing like designing jewellery, which is quite a beautiful way to put it!
