There has been a lot of discussion of late regarding the mainstream perception of tattoos. The vast majority of people still subscribe to the idea that people who get tattoos are from the lower levels of society such as bikies, mafia or criminals and have a bad view on people who get tattooed. That may have been the case years ago, but now people from all walks of life are getting tattooed.
The photographic exhibition, Perseverance has come to Sydney, hosted by the Japan Foundation and the Art Gallery of NSW alongside the Yoshitoshi exhibition, at the Art Gallery this month.
