Despite the long weekend last week and this week, Authentink has been open for business for all in want or need of some fresh ink. Over the last few weeks, a number of projects have come to a close and many more have been completed in a single sitting. We’ve compiled a few below, have a peek!
After many long, long sessions, this colourful dragon and hanya back-piece is finally completed! Occasionally appointments were scheduled with months in between, so it’s been quite a while since this client first came in. There are a number of things that stand out about this tattoo–from the vibrant green dragon horns to the solid red tassels and bold, strong lines of the hanya mask. We can’t wait for the next stage in this client’s shortsuit–the arms!
To balance a vicious dragon taking flight on the right shoulder of this client, Horivida has added a classic roaring tiger to his left shoulder. Orange ink is packed in solidly to bring the tiger to life, and the final product stands out like a printed picture on his skin.
The three boars below, tattooed by Bonzai, make up part of the family crest of this individual. Despite the often considered extra-painful placement on the chest, Bonzai reported that this client sat like a rock.
Recently, James completed this branch of blossoms along the collarbone in the ink brush style, once again achieving that incredible wet-ink look that extents even to the intense red of the blossoms. This project, which started as a coverup, has transformed into a lovely, eye-catching tattoo.
One of Aaron’s first projects at the studio since he started a few weeks back, some gap fillers for a long-time client and friend of his. These two pieces were designed to fit in perfectly in the spaces on this client’s arm, contributing to the cohesiveness of their tattoos.
These are only some of the completed works that have gone through the studio recently, but there are many more that you can peek at on the studio’s instagram, or on the artists’ instagram pages.
