Senju Kannon Bosatsu, also known as Avalokiteśvara of a Thousand Arms, is the Bodhisattva of Infinite Compassion.  Amida Nyorai, also known as Amitābha Buddha, is the Buddha of Infinite Light and Life, central to Pure Land Buddhism. He is said to reside in the Western Pure Land (Sukhavati), a paradise where anyone who calls upon him with sincerity can be reborn, escaping suffering and reaching enlightenment. His name, “Namu Amida Butsu,” is chanted as an act of devotion and trust in his boundless compassion. Often depicted in deep meditation or with open hands, Amida Nyorai symbolizes peace, wisdom, and the promise of spiritual liberation.
