What's on this Saturday! - Authent/Ink

This Saturday, we’ve got a number of awesome projects lined up from our artists. Let’s take a look at them!

Starting with Horisumi, he’s busy filling in background for long-term client Stephanie. She’s sitting like a trooper today with a full day session to get through. Let’s hope it goes quickly for her!

Further down the line, Kai’s tattooing two cherubs which will frame an already existing tattoo (done by a different artist). It took a hot minute to get these stencilled in the perfect position, but that patience has paid off–the balance achieved with this design is unmatched!

If you’ve been keeping up with our website posts, you’ll know that James recently started on a forearm tattoo that’ll complete the sleeve for an old client of his. Today, he’s chipping away at the background, starting at the wrist and steadily making his way up the arm.

The next three pictures track the progress of Ian as he works on an alligator skull, one of a pair that can be seen in the final picture. Ian tattooed the first alligator a few days ago, and now he’s completed the set. Happy healing to this lovely couple!

The Archangel Michael is a popular subject for a tattoo, speaking to strength, faith, and assuring the protection of anyone who bears the symbol. Pong’s spending the day transforming this pillar of strength into an incredible black and grey tattoo, taking up the frontside of his client’s forearm.

Moving to the upper half of the arm, this client is getting tattooed by Lily. They’re already a few sessions into this highly detailed ornamental shoulder tattoo, and Lily has begun filling in some of the bolder lines bordering the tattoo. This point of contrast brings to the forefront the combination of delicate shading and dot work that make up the majority of the design.

For a change of pace, here’s a small fineline tattoo done by Bonzai earlier today. We love cheeky tattoos like this–they’re simple, instructive, and fun! Though small, they can still hurt too. We sent this client home with our own instructions to get lunch and take a nap.

Last of all, Min actually finished quite a large scale piece today, which was several long sessions in the making. This client came into the studio with a dragon taking up the inside of his forearm, and Min expanded on that. Now, his whole sleeve is done and he’s already booked in for the other arm! Keep your eyes peeled to see the fierce tiger that’ll soon complete the set.

That’s all we’ve got for today! A big thank you to all of our awesome clients who came in today. If you saw something that you like, and are curious about bringing to life your own tattoo idea, reach out to us over email, phone, or submit a booking inquiry form through our website.
